Article Writing

Writing articles has been around forever - or so it seems.  But you'd be surprised how many people just write away without regard for the audience they are addressing.  Always think of the other guy -  The guy or gal who's actually going to read your work.  It's all about what they want to know.

People ask me all the time how to write articles?  It's pretty simple, really.  The first thing you have to do is understand the audience you're writing for.  Do some research. Writing an article about tomatoes which includes information about chili peppers, lemons and oranges is pointless.  If your reader wants to know about tomatoes - that's all you write about.  Don't load up the article with pointless information -- especially if you're writing for the web!

Writing an article will be easy if you've done your homework and you stick to the topic you're writing about.  Believe it or not, there are articles on writing an article on the web.  Well not surprising I guess.   Everything you want to know is on the web now-a-days.

The main point, however, is know your target audience and write specifically to them.  Be concise, but explicit about what it is they want to know.  When writing about your products, for example, don't list  all the features for of the product.  Rather, relate the benefits of those features and what they mean to your audience.
