Ask For The Order

You've written interesting and convincing copy.  You've kept your style open with white space and bullets for easy skimming so you can keep the reader's attention.  The information you've provided is critical to their needs.  But did you ask them to take action?Make it simple to get the material they're requesting.  Use a form to capture their name and email address.  That's all you need - unless you're selling something.  In this day and age, people are reluctant to give out too much information.  Even their email addresses.  So take the time to make them feel secure.

Have a privacy policy that's clear, concise and compelling.  Usually it's at the bottom of the page where it often gets overlooked.  But if you use a simple phrase like "We value your privacy" in the actual email form, you'd be surprised at how your responses will increase.

Bottom line.  Give your customers what they need and make sure they feel confident that your value their privacy and will guarantee your product.  Your customers will be delighted and you'll find it goes a long way towards doing future business with them.
